Cost of living crisis: Protesters chant ‘tax the rich’ across the UK

Hundreds of protesters in 20 UK cities mobilised to demonstrate against the rise in the cost of energy bills, food prices and taxes.

The People’s Assembly aimed their message at the government over its policies to tackle the crisis — and energy companies, who are reporting huge profits while bills are soaring.
