Taylor Swift fans are looking back to a photo posted by Loose Woman Denise Welch as a potential sign of the superstar singer’s reported relationship with The 1975 frontman Matt Healy.
In the image, posted on Instagram by Welch in January following The 1975‘s show at the O2 Arena, Swift can be seen with her arm around the British TV presenter and actress – who also happens to be Healy’s mum.
The photograph made headlines at the time and is now being reanalysed by the US star’s fans, known as Swifties, amid speculation she is in a relationship with Healy after breaking up with British actor Joe Alwyn.
According to a report in The Sun, Swift and Healy are ready to make their romance public in Nashville, Tennessee, where she is due to perform this weekend.
The newspaper quotes a source close to the star, who reportedly said: “She and Matty are madly in love. It’s super-early days, but it feels right. They first dated, very briefly, almost 10 years ago but timings just didn’t work out.
“Taylor and Joe actually split up back in February, so there was absolutely no crossover.”
Swift made an appearance on stage at The 1975 gig in January, giving a live debut of her hit single Anti-Hero.
“Oh what a night at a sold out 02,” said Welch in the caption to her photo. “So proud I can’t even begin!!”
Reports emerged in April that Swift had split from Alwyn, her boyfriend of six years, although neither star has commented publicly.

In March, she was pictured at Sir Michael Caine’s 90th birthday celebrations, with Tom Cruise among the other star guests.
Matt Healy, her eldest son with her ex-husband, the actor Tim Healy, fronts The 1975, who have had five number one albums best known for hits including Chocolate, The Sound and Somebody Else.
Swift has previously dated stars including Calvin Harris and Tom Hiddleston and is known for writing about her relationships in her songs.
In London Boy, a track from her seventh album, Lover, she seemed to provide an insight into her relationship with Alwyn via a love letter to the favourite capital city, referencing Camden Market and nights out in Brixton.
