President Carter’s motorcade stops at boyhood home, honored 39 times

The motorcade carrying President Jimmy Carter’s casket stopped outside his boyhood home in Archery, Georgia to honor the 39th president. After his boyhood home, the motorcade will continue past the Georgia State Capitol before arriving at the Carter Presidential Center in Atlanta. After the service at the Carter Center, the former president will lie in repose there, and the public can pay their respects until the morning of January 7, according to plans released by the Joint Task Force-National Capital Region in the Department of Defense. #cnn #news #jimmycarter #presidentcarter #presidential
