‘Russia has become a police state’

A man who fled Russia to escape the military draft says it has become a “police state” and claims most people now feel negatively about the war in Ukraine.

Twenty recruitment offices have been attacked in protest over Russian President Vladimir Putin’s partial mobilisation.
