‘Just Stop Oil’ activists glue their hands to roads and tankers in protest

Demonstrators from ‘Just Stop Oil’ glued their hands to roads and climbed on top of vehicles, causing disruption to deliver their message.

They aimed to create chaos until the government U-turns on recent plans to secure more oil and gas supplies over the next ten years.

Drivers in some areas – already faced with increased fuel prices – complained about queues and closed petrol stations as a result of the protests.
