Miles of traffic queues to Dover ferry port

Ferry passengers heading to France have faced long queues and disruption to cross-Channel services from Dover to Calais and Dunkirk.

The delays have been blamed on a shortage of ferries after the suspension of P&O services following the firms “fire and re-hire” controversy.
