Ukraine War: Finland poised to join NATO

After decades of refusing to sign up, Finland has expressed their interest in joining NATO.

The U-turn on public opinion of the military alliance came after the on-going war in Ukraine, which sparked fear against Russia – with whom the Finns share an 800km border.
