Police launch search for missing teenager in Essex

Police have launched an appeal to help find a 15-year-old girl who has gone missing from Southend-on-Sea.

Chantelle Edwards was last seen in the seaside town on Monday evening, with Essex Police saying they are worried about her.

Officers say she was reported missing at around 11.20pm on Tuesday, adding she is white, slim, 5ft 5ins tall with blonde hair.

She was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, light blue ripped jeans and white trainers.

Police ask that if you have seen her, are with her, or have any information about where she is, to please call 999 quoting incident 1548 of 26 July.
